  • Staff don’t know what’s covered. Policy documents are long, and few people read them.

  • Booking takes effort. Finding a clinic, taking time off and travelling all get in the way.

  • Allowances reset every year. Anything unused is simply lost.

A health day at your workplace removes all three. Staff book a 15-minute slot, we come to you, and each person gets their own results.

Built around your budget

No two workplaces need the same thing, so we don’t sell fixed packages. Tell us what you want to spend per person and we’ll suggest the right tests. Some examples:

  • Heart health check: cholesterol and lipid profile, from £69 per person

  • Essential health screen: a broad check of general health markers, quoted for your group

  • Full health screen: a wider panel such as Tired All The Time, with optional PSA for men, quoted for your group

You can mix and match. For example, the company can pay for a core test for everyone, and staff can add extras such as PSA if they want. Blood pressure, BMI and other measurements can be added as an optional extra.

Corporate discounts

The more staff you book, the lower the price per person. Tell us your numbers and we’ll send a group quote.

Staff with a health cash plan can also book at our Ilkley clinic and claim the cost back with the itemised receipt we give them.

How a health day works

Step 1: Tell us what you need

How many staff, which sites, your budget per head and any tests you have in mind. We send you a written quote.

Step 2: Pick a date

You provide a private room. Staff book 15-minute slots from a list you circulate. We can start as early as 6:30am, so site and shift teams are seen before work.

Step 3: We visit

A registered clinician takes each sample. Samples go to a UKAS-accredited laboratory the same day.

Step 4: Results

Each person receives their own results privately by email. The company does not see individual results.

Step 5: Follow-up

Anyone who wants to talk through their results can book a GP appointment with us.

Prices and terms

Every health day is quoted to fit your numbers and the tests you choose. Blood tests are priced per person and include the appointment, sample and individual results.

  • Heart health check from £69 per person

  • Group discounts: the more staff you book, the lower the price per person

  • Minimum 6 appointments per site day. If fewer go ahead, a minimum charge of £600 applies

  • Travel is charged at 55p per mile, return from Ilkley

  • Final numbers are confirmed 5 working days before the visit

  • No-shows and cancellations within 48 hours are charged at 50%, unless we fill the slot

Employee health checks: your questions answered

Can staff use their own health cash plan?

Yes, for anything they pay for themselves, such as extras on a health day or tests booked at our Ilkley clinic. We give them an itemised receipt to claim with. Cover varies, so they should check their policy.

Will the company see staff results?

No. Results go to each person privately.

Does private medical insurance cover this?

Usually not. Private medical insurance tends to exclude routine screening and may need a referral first.

What do you need from us on the day?

A private room with a table and two chairs, and a list of who’s booked in.

Can you visit more than one site?

Yes. We book a day per site, plus a mop-up day for anyone who missed it.

How much does it cost?

Heart health checks start from £69 per person, and the price per person drops as your group gets bigger. Every health day is quoted to fit your numbers, tests and locations.
