Ear Wax Removal
Your ear canal produces an oil called Cerumen, also known as ear wax. This protects the ear from micro-organisms, particles and dust.
Normally the excess wax finds it's way out of the ear canal naturally. However some people are prone to producing too much ear wax, which hardens and can lead to blockages, hearing loss, tinnitus, and discomfort.
Ear Wax Removal Process
Ear wax removal is a gentle and safe method of removing ear wax. Our specialist trained staff use video otoscopy. We will choose the most effective methods for removing your ear wax, be it microsuction, mechanical, or irrigation.
Can you perform ear wax removal on my child?
As well as adults, we can perform paediatric ear wax removal on children ages 5 and up

Who will perform the ear wax removal?
Our ear wax removal specialist is called James.
James is a paramedic who has had specialist training from an accredited provider in ear wax removal using microsuction, mechanical and video otoscopy.
Video Otoscopy uses a tiny camera that enables us to get better results and is safer than ear wax removal offered by many other providers

Unsure if you need ear wax removal?
We suggest to book an initial assessment. One of our staff will check both of your ears using a specialist camera, give advice and also provide images of your ears (if desired). If it turns out you have an ear infection, we can also offer advice with this.
